Everything you need to know

Beehive Supports uses strategies developed using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), which takes the behaviourist principles of learning (e.g. reinforcement, motivation, antecedents and consequences etc.) and applies them to the real world, to help solve real-world problems.

These learning principles have decades of empirical studies supporting their efficacy, and the field continues to evolve to ensure the science is being used to create behaviour change that is truly meaningful for the people we serve.

Safety is at the forefront of everything we do at Beehive supports. We ask that caregivers always allow their child to be able to “opt out” of any strategy we implement.

Caregiver Coaches at Beehive Supports are Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA). This means they have a graduate level education in the science of learning as well as over 1500 hours of supervised experience helping families reach their goals.

Our Director, Frank Nicolson has over 15 years of experience helping individuals using Applied Behaviour Analysis both here in Australia and overseas.

Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs) are experts in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), a scientific discipline that focuses on learning and behaviour.

Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs) are governed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), a board in the U.S consisting of leading experts within the field of ABA. This board certifies BCBAs and ensures their expertise through setting standards, guidelines, an exam as well as continuing education requirements and an ethical code.

By choosing a BCBA, you can trust their qualifications and competence in providing high-quality services.
